As NGO, BPW International is accredited each year by WHO so it is in our interest to show tha the Health Committee works alongside WHO to promote the same initiatives for the Health and the Wellbeing of the World Population.
In actual fact, the last WHO’s call is for action against childhood obesity, almost a pandemia, with 42 million children under the age of 5 overweight or obese in 2013. Obesity is strictly connected to Diabetes 2.

The International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGIDER) are delighted to announce that the Women Vendors Exhibition and Forum (WVEF) is taking place on 1-2 September 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey!
The Call for Applications is now OPEN and BPW needs your support to identify eligible women entrepreneurs to participate in this global event. We invite you to share the information below and attached Save the Date.
What is WVEF about? Creating lifetime opportunities for women entrepreneurs by improving skills, expanding networks and facilitating new markets!

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is organizing a Buyer Mentor Group (BMG)*, which will be held in parallel to the CIFTIS International Trade Fair for Trade in Services on May 28th –June 1st 2016 in Beijing, China,

Benefits of participation:
Selected Women Business Entrepreneurs (WBEs) in Services -Information Communications Technology (ICT), Business and Tourism-, will receive trainings, have a space in the fair, and the opportunity to exhibit their products as well as meet potential buyers.
ITC will offer a space for the WBEs at the fair and will cover the accommodation costs of selected participants. Travel and expenses on-site (lunches, dinners etc.) are not covered and must be paid by the participants.
As there are limited space available (approx. 10/15 WBEs will participate), we encourage them to:
1. fill the WVEF online application and
2. contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and email@example.com asap before 29th March 2016 to express their interest in the BMG and confirm that they can cover their travel and other expenses.
Please note that applications will go through a competitive selection process and only the selected women entrepreneurs will be contacted before beginning of April.
A detailed agenda of the events will be shared with successful applicants.
If you would like to share your story at the ITC forum on E-Commerce and Digital Trade for Development, which will be held at the CIFTIS, please fill the online form until 21st March 2016, extended deadline for submission.
Eligible companies, should:
Have applied online and fulfilled the WVEF conditions (legally registered and incorporated; 51% or more women owned, managed and controlled; be domiciled in an economy in transition or developing country).
Applicants should be able to communicate in English in order to fully participate.
