I believe that one of the most important aspects of any business or organization is having a well-structured and stable financial system in order to achieve success. If you do not have this then success is almost impossible. Having grown up in Lima-Peru, I have seen first hand how government corruption and mishandling of funds can adversily affect peoples well-being.

I have chosen to go into the accounting profession because I feel that clear and concise accounting procedures play a crucial role in the success of a business, organization, and of course a country.

When I first found out about the BPW organization I was amazed by its unique role in supporting womens’ career development and knew I had to be part of it. I believe that this is an organization that embraces women in every stage of life. From the young inexperienced BPW members willing to learn to the successful Executive BPW member who own their own business. I joined the BPW North Shore Club several years ago. My experience was enlightening. However due to life changes such as marriage and the birth of my son I had to leave for a while. But now I have gladly re-joined under BPW New York and would appreciate your support in my nomination for Finance Director.

I believe my hard work and dedication to tasks make me a qualified candidate who is willing to help BPW prosper in this new upcoming era.

I would be honored to be considered for such an esteem position within the BPW International organization.
