Supporting
Statement
Since 1979 when I joined BPW, I did it with
the conviction of working to give continuance to the goals
and objectives of the organization, and be able to be a factor
of change to create a world that we want for ourselves, our
families, our community, our country and for the future generations.
I consider that to have a position in BPW
and be able to represent an organization as big, powerful,
and strong as is BPW, is not only an honor but a great responsibility
and it should reflect and project what each of its associates
is, feels and desires as an important part of BPW.
We know that all the non-governmental organizations
worldwide are suffering a crisis in their membership, nevertheless
the number of those organizations has been increased dramatically
and many of them are working in similar objectives duplicating
the effort and reducing the possibilities of success that
could be achieved from being united in a solid organization
as ours.
If we are a great organization and have a
great international structure, important and amazing goals
and objectives, and if each day new organizations are born
with people that desire to work for a better world, then the
only thing that remains for us to do is to make our organization
visible and to reflect the pride to be BPW in our everyday
life.
I believe is important that each one of us
work united:
- To know and to carry out the goals and objectives of
the organization.
- To analyze our present situation deeply and be open
to the changes that we should make.
- "To make our organization visible" by promoting
it with our example and work from the cell of our family,
covering all our community, our Country and our Region
and also carrying out massive promotional campaigns in
all the media.
- To take action in our personal responsibility created
when we accept to be members of BPW.
- To reflect benefits and the pride to be part of BPW
in everything we do.
- To participate in all the activities of our Club, Federation
and our Region.
- To be always in contact with the associates of our
Region until we can be a true sisterhood, a great fraternity.
- To make alliances with other organizations which do
not have the International endorsement to join to our
organization and our work.
My commitment is to carry out the previous
objectives that evidently will be a reality only if there
also exists commitment and work from all and each one of the
BPW members that integrate our Region.
Following these steps we will have not only an increment in
our membership and the crystallization of all our projects,
we will be truly the biggest, strongest and most powerful
organization in the world for the benefit of all humanity.
I thank you in advance your support and your
attention.
Sincerely.
