Supporting Statement

My proposition is,

• to develop a regional networking and communications skills and create a leadership program for BPW members at Sookmyung Women’s University.
• to facilitate the participation of BPW members at WLN and APEC meetings, in particular, to promote the BPW networking with corporates and government officials of the Asia and Pacific region.
• To promote fund raising for BPW International and the Region with creative programs and events.

I will try to do my best to accomplish my projects with the support of Korean members and all the other BPW members in the world through an effective task force for each project.

Dear sir,

BPW Korea is pleased to nominate Dr. Young Hai Park for the position of Regional Coordinator for Asia and Pacific Region. We are confident that her long experiences of working as a NGO Leader not only in Korea but also in international level, in particular, in Asia and Pacific region will be a great asset to BPW International. Her outstanding leadership at Sookmyung Women’s University made possible all the training Programs for ICT and Young BPW Leadership Training which took place successfully last year during the International Young BPW Conference in Seoul.

Her devotion to BPW Korea since 1974 ( during 34 years!) contributed to the promotion of the profile of the Federation by creating BPW Gold Award given to the best women friendly corporate since 1993 and purchasing an Office for the Secretariat and by registering the Federation as a Legal entity in the Government.

BPW Korea whole heartedly support Dr. Young Hai Park in seeking for the above mentioned position in BPW International.
