Works: “Collaborator’s Young Men-BPW” and “BPW-Girls”

The main objective for both Works is to stimulate the development and participation of young men and girls, fortifying and adding value to the goals of BPW-International. One of this goals, which is the most important and necessary, is to reach “the discrimination elimination”. We believe that to reach this goal we have to include men and women, boy and girls, to extend around the world our ideals.

This works have its origin trough the information obtained by surveys and interviews, which means both works have born from the direct knowledge and the research of the day by day reality into the society, which turns more attractive and interesting both works.
We desire equality of opportunities, friendship promotion and collaboration between women and men, trough the creation of one space and place from the future leaders (girls and boys) with their ideas and new vision of the actual world, can build their owns projects with the objective of improve the quality of live from the local and international community using BPW as their platform.
Considering the reasons explained above, we present the work “BPW-Girls”, a program which its objective is the execution of different activities in order to stimulate the development of 12 to 18 years old girls group, as a professional “training” platform, helping  them to reach yours future vocation.

“BPW – Girls” promotes the spaces creation to capture the potential of infancy, adolescence and youth of the girls, trough the execution of entertained activities, cultural and social activities, and also educating activities, to obtain the community quality of live improvement trough the projects and programs implementation, based on the ethics and moral values construction.
The goal is obtain a commitment of each girl, empowering them to reach and find the people and community necessities, as another form to reinforce the principles, ideals and values of BPW.

With the same goal, in order to exalt the BPW principles, we present the “Collaborator’s Young Men-BPW” work. This is one initiative which born from my 5 years old son named Lucio, who wants to collaborates with me, his mother and helps BPW to reach the “Genders equality”, which is so difficult to reach if we not take into account any person that wants to contribute to obtain it. And this is the core of this program, the young men inclusion, adding their potential opening the doors to many male adolescents who are interested to contribute to the objectives and principles of BPW International.

As last, I want to say thanks to Paulo Bernardo, a 19 years old boy, which actually is a student of Politics Science and International Relationships of the Catholic University of La Plata. He collaborates in the development of both works, and this is another example that indicates us the necessity to add all the persons with the will to help BPW International to reach our main goals.
In this works emerge clearly the idea that we need to create conscience on all the mothers around the world, because if we want to make a deep change, then we should start in our home, educating our sons and showing them the path of the change that BPW wants to make into the world.  I am convincing that since the root, we can consolidate a real change of the future.
