Happy
New Year BPW Japan!
On behalf of BPW International,
I would like to thanks BPW Japan for your
50 years of contribution to help improve
the status of women as well as your continue
support and collaboration with BPW International.
As an organization, BPW
International has reached a turning point.
To continue to be influential in the 21st
Century, we need to reform our organization.
BPW Japan’s work has been in support
of preparing BPW for the future. In particular,
I would like to compliment BPW Japan’
projects for young women such as UN CSW
Internship for University Students, Young
Working Women’s Speech Contest, Mentoring
and young BPW students. Keep up the great
work! |
On this upcoming
year 2008, I wish you and every member of
BPW Japan a great success. I hope to see
many BPW Japan members will join other 80
member countries of BPW International at
the XXVI BPW International Congress, Mexico
City, Mexico on 24-28 October 2008. We have
many exciting things in store. While the
executives are having fruitful meetings
regarding organization reform, there will
be educational workshops such as leadership
training for members, workshops to show
off BPW accomplishments, workshops that
address emerging issues. Most of all, we
will have a lot of FUN at social events.
Let
us continue to do things together and work
in partnership to create global impact and
enhance BPW influence world-wide. Have a
wonder year in 2008.
