Description:
The
23rd annual Careers 2001 was held on November
14, 2001 and involves bringing together
high school girls and resource women to
help the girls determine career paths. The
event is open to grade 10 - 12 girls in
the Regina and surrounding area, and last
year we had approximately 400 girls attend.
There is approximately 90 resource women
representing diverse sectors, from medical,
business, arts and science fields to name
a few. There is also a guest speaker, to
inspire the girls and also a trade show
of post secondary educational institutes
and sponsors.
Results:
Help 400 students from
35 high schools.
