Objectives
Project aim is to teach less fortunate children
through the habit and love of reading.
Description
The owner and coordinator of the project
is Anita Kolopaking. The reading garden
is located at owner's premises, opened for
children in the region after school hours.
Books are donated from BPW Indonesia members
and also from individually interested group.
Owner of project is fully responsible for
the cost to run the reading garden, such
as the salary of one staff and mineral water
for the children there. Project started
in year 1998 and continuously running till
now.
Expected
results
To produce intelligent children of the less
fortunate families, to give the chance for
them to increase their knowledge through
reading.
