Objectives
Story telling is the most powerful communication-tool
when you have to reach out to mind and heart.
Complex ideas with emotional dimensions,
e.g. motivation, can be transmitted in a
more efficient way by biographical reading
and illustrations than by verbal description.
For women, “story telling” can
become an important tool as they often like
to communicate issues with new emotional
aspects. The goal is have a large collection
for the 75th anniversary next year.
Description
BPW International collects short personal
stories on how BPW or BPW International
has impacted the life of BPW members or
the life of others close to them and how
BPW has influenced and increased their growth
as a person. Some stories will be on the
website and a selection will be published
in the BPW Jubilee Congress Booklet.
Results
BPW Success Stories were published and distributed
at XXV BPW International Congress in Luzern,
Switzerland to celebrate 75th anniversary
of BPW Internation. The stories not only
inform and motivate our members but also
show the rich and sustainable impact BPW
can have to the outside.
