Description:

BPW Kalasin organized 2-days training for 2 groups of women (total 250 women) on how to make flowers and dolls from the special “Yai-Bua” fabric. Yai-Bua fabric has low cost but the market for products made from Yai-Bua fabric is large. The intension is to help them to build their careers and earn extra income.

BPW Kalasin raised 300,000 Baht funding to support the cost of instructors and materials used for this training. BPW Kalasin also organized the venue, food and drinks for women participating in this training.

Results:

This project helped 250 women.

Impact over time:
Women who received training manage to earn extra income from works they can do during their free time. Some further teach more people to acquire the same skill.
