BPW Valencia organized the First Congress for
BPW Spain on “Women in the World Leading
the Millennium”. Mayor of Valencia, Rita
Barberá Nolla, gave a keynote speech at
the opening ceremony. Over 700 women participated
in this event.
On 23 October 2007,
International President Dr. Chonchanok Viravan
gave a talk on “Return on Investment when
women became top executives” in Women and
Economic Panel session. Other speakers for the
same session included Mr. Rodrigo Rato, Managing
Director of International Monetary Fund and Ms
Isabel Gimenez Zuriaga, Director of the Foundation
for Financial and Stock Exchange Research.
