Attach detail if required)   Business Women Idol Gain knowledge and well understand their careers Have principles in sustaining their career Achieve leadership, be decisive and brave to do the right things Inspirations Thrive economy of Thailand between 2002 – 2006 Import & Export Sector Financial liquidity Government focused on wealth of the country Well standard of living of the grass roots “Populism” = spreading out money to the grass roots who invest in producing new products and distributing them in terms of business Problem The majority of Thais being agriculturists Lack of knowledge in investing and doing business Thus, business management is the main factor to support business growth. By following the King’s philosophy “Sustainability and Self-sufficiency", their business will be stable and ever-long lasting. Expectation BPW Khon Kaen is an association which consists of business women in Khon Kaen gathering together in order to be the model in doing business of women in the community. They aim to share and exchange their experiences of business not only success, but also failure. The expectation is to develop knowledge of doing fundamental business for women in community. The target group is the women who have their own businesses or products including those who are going to initiate to do something. This will help to promote their role to be more outstanding. Moreover, this would increase their credibility and empower them to gain more bargaining power for both business sector and government sector. Main Objectives To share and exchange direct working experiences between BPW Khon Kaen and community women regarding how to encounter with difficulties occurred in their career by themselves To apply model experiences into their businesses in terms of sustainability and self-sufficiency To build up a new networking between community women and BPW members Quantitative Goal Workshops were provided for 80 villages in Khon Kaen Province.
