Financial assistance to Young BPW members
to attend the 4th Young BPW Meeting

International level Leadership training and networking opportunity as well as enable Young BPW members to take part in shaping the future of BPW through their participation in Organization Review and Reform.

Level of Support:
In order to support more Young BPW members from various member countries of BPW International to attend, but face financial constraint due to airfare price. While BPW International would like to encourage member countries to support a Young BPW to attend, BPW International Executive Board has approved my request to offer a partial subsidy for the airfare of Young BPW members (using accrued unused budget from 2006) as follows.

  • 11 Financial assistants worth 400 Euro each
    for Young BPW from Latin America, Africa, the Caribbean
  • 18 Financial assistants worth 200 Euro each
    for Young BPW from Asia-Pacific, North America and Europe.

How to Apply:

  • President of BPW National Federation or an Associate club can nominate 1 young BPW by submitting her name, contact address / e-mail, and a copy of her Passport to member.services@bpw-international.org and rooma.para@bpw-international.org.
  • The deadline to apply for financial assistant is 31 March 2007.
  • The request will be granted on first come first serve basis, with only one recipient per country at first.
  • If there is some remaining budget after 31 March 2007, then 2 members per countries may be considered.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nominee must be a BPW member under 35 years of age.
  • The federation / associated club that submit name of nominee must be up-to-date with their dues to BPW International for 2006.
  • The winner of Young BPW award would automatically be considered for partial subsidy for airfare.

Responsibility:
All Young BPW members who get this fund will be required to attend all the events and prepare recommendations and feedback for the brainstorming session. They will be required to write a report / testimonies of the meeting. Funding subsidy will be granted at the end of Young BPW Meeting.
