BPW in Cameroon Engages with Parliament
Africa Regional Coordinator, Adenike Adeyanju-Osadolor recently paid a visit to Cameroon. The visit also coincided with the presence in Cameroon of Giselle Rufer of BPW Switzerland, the president of Delance who was on a speaking engagement in Cameroon.

The proposed new Club in Mfoundi and the three existing Clubs in Cameroon – Yaounde, Edea and Douala – were all part of workshop on membership training facilitated by both the regional coordinator and Giselle Rufer.

The workshop closed with a high level meeting with the Deputy Speaker and first vice president of the Cameroonian parliament Mrs Mojowa Lifaka. The support of the parliament was sought for BPW programmes in Cameroon especially the WEPs when it will be launched. The Deputy Speaker promised to support BPW in Cameroon. The meeting ended with the induction of the Deputy Speaker as Honorary member of BPW Cameroon.
