Members BPW Member Support Make Your Voice Heard!

The current state of hunger and malnutrition hits almost a Billion people of all ages all over the world.

Only when world leaders are convinced there is worldwide public demand for change will they take the courageous steps needed to end hunger.

The BPW International Theme “Power to Make a Difference” can be demonstrated if BPW Members in different countries sign the petition launched by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization). Follow the instructions here on our international website by clicking below. A graphic and link will allow all BPW signatures to be “recognized” among the other millions from private and public organizations and social networks.

The aim is to commit Governments to translate global declarations into Food and Nutrition Action Plans. We can start the 1BH Campaign at local, regional and national level during the next 2-3 months. Mobilize associates, partners, friends and contacts to do the same by clicking below to access the petition.

In the Fall 2010, the results of this petition drive will be presented symbolically to world leaders during the World Food Day.

Thank you from FAO in Rome, Italy.
