Dear BPW Members and friends around the world.

This is my last *Midnight* letter as your 1st Vice President of BPW International.  In many countries the church bells are ringing in the New Year, and I am thinking of you all at this time.

“Oh dear! Another year has gone… 12 months!” This and similar words are heard here and there. Yes, it is true; time seems to fly, here and there, for you and for me.

Reflexions on the past 'Midnight' letter 2009-2010

I wrote about the new challenge, the long way we will go together and the wonderful chance to move forward towards reaching our goals.
Unfortunately, I did not have the chance and honour to meet all of you individually, but nevertheless, I had a wonderful opportunity to speak with many of you face to face and to learn from you about your concerns, thoughts, ideas and wishes, as well as your sorrows, which I carry in my heart and pray that you feel better as each day passes.

On December 31st 2010 Presidents of Federation and Associate Clubs should report their Number of actual members.

This is my second *Midnight* letter for you, dear BPW Members, dear friends around the world,

I do not know, if you can divide the same thoughts and feelings as I have right now, sitting in front of my computer and writing to you. “Oh dear… again a year has gone… 12 months! Just as a glimpse gone…” “I wonder if for all the BPW Members this year simply rushed away?”

Reflexions about the past Midnight letter 2008-2009

I wrote about the new challenge, the long way we will go together and the wonderful chance to go forward towards reaching our goals.
I admit that I did not have the chance and the honour to meet all of you individually, but to many and those of you I had the wonderful chance to speak face to face and learn from you about your concerns, thoughts, ideas, wishes, and including your sorrows. I carry them all in my heart.

Time has changed, new challenges have come up, and a new area has started. The challenge to lead BPW to a substantial increase of members, is one of my top priorities

25’000 Members plus 1? = 50’000 Members! Wonderful outlook! This sounds good easy and feasible.

Dear all!

While in some countries it is still the last day of the year 2008, in other countries it is already the first day of the New Year 2009. It is time for me to reflect on the last 366 days of 2008.

We celebrated “Christmas time” with our families, with our friends and with our memories and souvenirs of childhood. We had time to sit together, to listen, to talk, to sing and to hold each other, to feel the warmth our world needs so much.

And as tradition wants it, we make good wishes on the last day of the year for the New Year waiting at the front door.

As newly elected 1st Vice President of BPW International during Congress in Mexico last October, this coming year will be a challenge for me, surely full of surprises and good moments, but my realistic thoughts are: This will be a year of new work and new engagements, different as in the past three years as I was the Regional Coordinator of BPW Europe.
