Airport to Hotel
The easiest and most convenient way to leave International
airport of Mexico City Benito Juárez (Aeropuerto Internacional
de la Ciudad de México Benito Juárez) is to
take a taxi authorized by the airport. Such taxi must have
yellow mustard and white colour with an airplane stamp on
both its sides. The type of vehicle may vary depending on
the number of passengers. You can get one by attending to
the box office and buying a ticket. The fare will depend on
the location you’re going to and the type of vehicle.
Destination location is divided in zones. The Congress Headquarter
hotel, Gran Melia Mexico Reforma Hotel, is located in Zone
4. Passenger’s fare will be the same if you’re
travelling alone or have three more companions. From 4 passengers
onwards, the tariff will change.
Words of Advises:
- Demand the vehicle you need. Don’t allow to be
taken in the van or the bigger unit than you need as you
will be charged higher than necessary.
- Don’t give your ticket to the driver till you’ve
reached your destination.
- Don’t allow another person in even if he/she’s
going to the same place or area.
It you did not run into rush hour traffic, the travel time
from the airport to Gran Melia Hotel is approximately 30 minutes.
