ARTICLE I – TITLE

Present

The name of this organisation shall be the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN, hereinafter referred to as "BPW International".

Proposed

The name of this organisation shall be the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN, hereinafter referred to as "BPW International" or "BPWI".
Proposed amendment will take effect immediately after XXVI BPW International Congress

RATIONALE

Currently many BPW affiliates are using BPWI as an abbreviation for BPW International. This will legitimise the usage.
