Present
Section 1.
The duties of the members of the Executive Board shall be
such as are generally prescribed by parliamentary usage.
Section 2.
The President shall be the Chief Executive Officer of BPW
International and of the Board of Directors. She shall preside
at the meetings of the Congress and the Board of Directors.
The President shall appoint the Chairpersons and members of
all Special Committees and Ad Hoc Committees, and shall be
a member ex-officio of all Committees except the Nominations
Committee. She shall have a casting vote at Congress save
on the matter of the election of President, when in case of
a tie the election shall be determined by lot.

The First Vice President and Second Vice
President shall be the Chairpersons of the Standing Committee
on Membership and United Nations - Status of Women Committee.
In the absence of the President, the First Vice President,
or, in the absence of both of them, the Second Vice President,
shall preside at the meetings of the Congress or of the
Board of Directors or of the Executive Board. |

The Vice Presidents shall perform such other duties
as are designated by the Board of Directors or the President. |

Action Groups and Ad Hoc Committees that
are not already led by a Special Director.
She shall be a member ex-officio of all Action groups and
Committees except the Nominations Committee. She shall have
a casting vote at Congress save on the matter of the election
of President, when in case of a tie the election shall be
determined by lot.
