SUBMITTED BY BPW International Executive Board

NEW ARTICLE II – DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

Present

none

Proposed

  • “Mail” means any written communication received by post, courier, fed-ex or similar delivery; facsimile, electronic mail; or similar medium.
  • “Written” means any letters or other symbols on a surface to form a message.

Proposed amendment will take effect immediately after XXVI BPW International Congress. All subsequent Articles to be renumbered

RATIONALE

Several places in the Constitution refer to different forms of communication. This standardises them without having to replace all clauses and saves confusion on how communications can be made.
