A club at least 75 per cent of
whose membership is comprised of business or professional
women or both existing in a country where there is no
affiliated Federation or in a state, province or entity
where there is no affiliated State Federation may become
an Associate Club provided there are not more than four
other Associate Clubs in that country, state, province

Proposed amendment will
take effect on 1 March 2011.
RATIONALE
This amendment is based on President’s
report on Organization Review and Reform Recommendations.
It’s imperative that BPW International increases its
membership. Many BPW Associate clubs kept their membership
static at the minimum of 20 members for years, if not over
a decade. If an Associate club is motivated to recruit 2 members
a year, it should be able to attain this. |
