BY-LAWS ARTICLE V – DUTIES OF MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Article V, Section 6 be amended by adding an additional Clause as g) and renumbering all subsequent Clauses.

ensure that Congresses are budgeted on a break-even basis, and Congress activities are planned and managed to ensure that the Congress budget is not exceeded.

RATIONALE

BPW International cannot continue to absorb operating losses run by Congresses and they must break even. If it is necessary to curtail some Congress activities to keep costs within the budget, then that must occur.

MOTION: Amendment No. 6 lie on the table until after the Review of Congress Organisation and Finance had reported.
