Statement
My name is Delly Fabiano, I am a Geometry
Professor in the Faculty of Engineer of the University of
Calabria. Actually I am the Culture Assessor in the city
hall of Rende, Calabria, Italy.
I have always been involve in social fields
with several functions in social associations, I am the
president of the Italian Association of Alzheimer disease
of Cosenza (AIMA), actually I am a member of the Fidapa
club in Rende (Cosenza, Italy) and member of the Rotary
club in Cosenza (Calabria, Italy) DISTRICT 2100 where I
have several roles.
My work field is in the math research and
with this I am involved by my passion in the human science
contests. I am the director of the LAMI laboratory and I
am also the president of the commission “Women and
equal opportunity” at the faculty of engineer in the
university of Calabria, where I have been the manager of
the project “Donne del Mediterraneo” creating
a work collaboration with all the Mediterranean women. I
have also been a coordinator in several national and international
cultural projects.
In all my carrier experiences that can
enrich the potential of the commission Arts & Culture
there is my Adviser experience of the council of ministers
for the political communities (September 2005-march 2006,minister
Giorgio La Malfa) and my actually role of Assessor in Public
education, Museum, Public library and cultural events ,
at the city council of Rende (CS) that I perform with passion
and try with all myself to help and give that missing sensibility
in culture with all his aspects.
The motivations that brings me to ask for
this important role is the passion to research for new experiences
in human and cultural field, the same strong passion that
I have for my professional work. The motivation that brings
me to ask for the role of Chairpersons is that I think to
represent very well the Calabrian Culture in all his aspects,
bringing a good effort in the commission of Arts & Culture.
