Trip to Latin America - Bogotà, Colombia

Bogotà, Colombia - November 25-28, 2022

As Bogotá is a fairly new Club (approved in June 2021) we wanted to pay the members a visit. We were picked up at the airport late at night and driven to a hotel close to the old town Zipaqurá where, the next day,  we visited the salt mine with the salt cathedral and the interesting old town. Very impressive! For lunch we were invited to the hacienda of the Vice President Maria de Rosario almost at 3000 m above sea level. She introduced us to typical Colombian food and fruit drinks we had never heard of.

In the evening we met the members of the Club at a member’s house where they shared their projects with us. What an inspiring evening! The next day members showed us the old city of Bogotá, the Museum of Gold and the collection of the Columbian painter and sculptor Fernando Botero. A very impressive and interesting day. Thank you all for your time and your work for BPW International.
