50 BPWomen and guests from near and far came together to warmly congratulate the Regensburg members on their 25th anniversary. Club sisters from Munich, Stuttgart, Burghausen, Mangfall Valley, Tyrol, Wiesbaden and Dresden traveled to join the celebration—a memorable event aboard a Danube ship featuring vibrant live jazz performed by two outstanding musicians, a delicious brunch, and heartfelt words of appreciation from fellow members, representatives of the City of Regensburg, cooperation partners, and long-time companions.
As part of the leadership team, Ruth Mößmer accepted the congratulations on behalf of the Club. A particularly moving moment came when Heike Fiestas Cueto presented the Club with both the anniversary certificate from BPW Germany and the newly created birthday certificate from BPW International. With this gesture, BPW Regensburg became the very first club worldwide to be honored in this way—an initiative by Francesca Burack in her role as Vice President Membership International, recognizing the club‘s “unwavering commitment” to BPW’s mission.
Founding member Ingrid Asche shared a lively look back at 25 years of Club history. With a lovingly designed timeline, she recalled the Club’s many impressive activities and honored the women who shaped its path year after year.
One of the most touching highlights was the candle ceremony, designed with mindfulness and dignity by Ursula Simon—a moment that will stay in everyone’s memory. With charming and spirited moderation by Iris Middelhove, the anniversary celebration became a joyful, heartfelt, and truly memorable event full of diversity and connectedness.
