Women: Drivers of a Resilient Tomorrow.
After the Opening Speeches of the President of BPW Cyprus, Mary Papadopoulou, Regional Coordinator for Europe, Anu Viks, the International President, Dr. Catherine Bosshart, the President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Christodoulos E. Angastiniotis, H.E. the President of the House of Parliament, Mrs. Annita Demetriou and the Envoy of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Nico Anastiasdes, three inspiring panels took place on Reflecting on 2020:
- Lessons Learned
- Rewriting the Business Model of Tomorrow and
- Green Economy and Technology: The Key to Sustainability
All three panels gave new insights on how to progress entrepreneurship in times of a pandemic and what new opportunities can be gained. The Green Economy and Technology Panel showed clearly how we as consumers have to change our ways of buying and spending the items of every-day life. The Symposium closed with a Gala Diner celebrating 25 years of BPW Cyprus. On the last day the President of Cyprus took us on an excursion to the village of Lefkara in the mountains, known for its long-standing tradition of lace and silver jewellery production.
