Gertrude Mongella Award

The Gertrude Mongella Award was established by BPW International in recognition of the work done by Gertrude Mongella, Secretary-General for the IV World Conference on Women held in Beijing, China in 1995. The award is presented every three years to an Individual or Group of Individuals, in recognition of outstanding work done on an ongoing basis to improve the status of grassroots women.
