BPW International is a worldwide organization, an NGO, politically independent and neutral. It is therefore forbidden for BPW International and its members, based on the Constitution, to make a political statement on the war over Ukraine or to support or oppose statements made by political actors.
However, in a letter from the office of the President of the European Union, Ursula von der Leyen, in response to a letter from Anu Viks, BPW International Regional Coordinator Europe, we BPW members receive a lot of advice on what we can do as a politically independent and neutral organization in the humanitarian sector to support the people expelled from Ukraine as well as the population remaining in Ukraine.
