DACH-Conference, St. Gallen, Switzerland, September 23-24, 2022
DACH-Conference in St. Gallen, Switzerland – meeting of the German speaking Federations Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This year's conference was organised by BPW Switzerland. After an informative visit to the textile museum in St. Gallen, from which we learned a great deal about the historical economic development of the city from the trading center for linen to the center for lace, from embroidered fabrics to the very special creations for Parisian haute couture, a cosy get-together followed. Saturday’s conference was held with the theme and logo "Be the heroine of your own life" during which impressive biographies were presented. For these, not only were the successes noteworthy, but it was also the overcoming of very personal injuries due to disabilities. In the workshops in the afternoon, each participant was able to deepen their own personal experiences. A very enriching and successful conference.
