Ms. Katia Reda, Chair of the BPW International Standing Committee on Public Relations, will participate as a distinguished speaker at the 7th BPW Mediterranean Symposium, to be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 14 to 16 November 2025.
Under the theme “The Balance of Power: Gender, Economy, Leadership,” this important event will bring together BPW leaders, experts, and advocates from across the Mediterranean region to discuss strategies that foster equality, sustainable growth, and women’s leadership.
As part of the session “Empowering Voices,” Ms. Katia Reda will present “The Role of the Standing Committee on Public Relations,” promoting BPW’s global actions and the initiatives led by her committee. Her presentation will highlight how communication, advocacy, and visibility empower women’s voices and strengthen BPW’s collective impact worldwide.

The 30th of May 2025, a Zoom meeting was held between the Public Relations Committee of International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW) and a group of young university students in the conference hall at Al-Doha High School in Beirut.
The meeting was proposed by the PR Committee and organized by the President of BPW Lebanon who is member in this committee Ms. Carmen Zogheib.
Mrs Zogheib moderated the meeting and welcoming remarks. The meeting was opened by Mrs Katia Reda President of the Public Relations Committee who shared her experience and passion for BPW,and welcoming the group participating in the meeting.
Mrs Rana Sabbeddine the principal of Al-Doha High School spoke, expressing the importance of cooperation with the BPW, promising future projects for the benefit of the country. Short interventions followed, under citizenship title : "What Lebanon do we want so we can stay and not emigrate?" Everyone had a unified demand: gender equality.
A positive atmosphere prevailed, built on hope for a new Lebanon under a new Government.
The intervention of the members of PR committee and the International VP Neelima Basnet were an added value for this event.
Mrs Zogheib closed the event saying that the future starts with youth who are the new leaders, and this is what BPW Lebanon is working on.
