World Health Day 2026

On this World Health Day (April 7), we unite under the global call to advance health for all — ensuring that every person, regardless of who they are or where they live, has access to the care, dignity, and opportunity necessary for a healthy life.

In a world still navigating the challenges of inequality, climate change, and evolving health threats, let us reaffirm our shared commitment to justice, solidarity, and universal well-being. By investing in public health systems, supporting community care, and prioritizing women’s and marginalized voices, we move closer to a future where health is not a privilege, but a human right.

In order to realize a society where people around the world can live healthy and happy lives, now is the time to unite "science-based knowledge" and "the ability to act together".

We aim to change the current situation where access to health and opportunities are limited based on gender and social background, and to aim for a society where the physical and mental well-being of all people is respected.

By blending evidence-based policymaking with a gender perspective, we can create a more equitable and inclusive health system.

“Together for health. Stand with science" - with these words in mind, we will continue to build resilient communities and a healthier, more equitable world that leaves no one behind.
